Choosing Minimally Invasive Surgery
One of the greatest trends in the history of surgery is
the advent of minimally invasive techniques for the full spectrum of surgery
types performed on the human body. Minimally invasive means performing
surgery in many cases without open incisions. For patients, this can translate
into a lower risk of infection, faster recovery and less scarring. Because
of the great benefits offered by such techniques, minimally invasive options
challenge the standard-of-care for many conditions and should always be
considered.

WELCOME to... ENDOMETRIOSIS AWARENESS &
INFORMATION
Despite the vast number of women and adolescents
in the world suffering from the reproductive and immunological disease
Endometriosis, the illness remains under-diagnosed, under-researched, under-funded
and under-treated. There is still, as yet, no definitive cure, despite
what less-informed sources would have you believe.
Throughout this site you will find articles, news
and information pertaining to the disease, as well as resources for support.
This site is not intended to suggest or replace medical advice given to
you by your doctor; but rather, to educate and empower you to make your
own best - informed - decisions concerning your health. While currently
incurable, it is entirely possible to effectively manage Endometriosis
and live well in spite of the disease. The keys to successfully battling
this painful disease include early diagnosis, effective treatment with
a true Endometriosis specialist (not an OB-GYN generalist), the support
of those who understand, keeping abreast of the latest information on the
disease, and a positive outlook.

Pelvic Adhesions
Pelvic adhesions cause many problems for millions of women. From obstructed
tubes associated with infertility, to pelvic tenderness, and painful intercourse,
to chronic pelvic pain. Curiously, adhesions can be very extensive, yet
relatively silent. They may remain silent indefinitely, or long after the
causative event, become symptomatic.
The causes of adhesions are multiple but basically the tissue irritation
that produces the adhesive process arises from an inflammatory event, or
from trauma (i.e. post surgical).
Though Dr. Bradley is not in practice any longer,
he is an excellent resource for persons afflicted with ARD! he is one of
the most compassionate, kindest and knowledgeable physicians I have ever
known! Dr. Glenn Bradley stands among the greats in my book!
